Hotel Gioia Florence

This hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. Firstly, the location was absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the city's main attractions. It made it so easy to explore and made the most of my time in this beautiful city. Secondly, the staff were wonderful - friendly and always available to assist, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The room itself was cozy and comfortable, with a huge shower in the bathroom and a comfortable bed. Lastly, the included breakfast was a great way to start the day and kept me fueled until lunchtime.

There were a couple of minor things that could be improved. The shower pressure on the higher floors was a bit low at times.

I loved how conveniently located Hotel Gioia was, just a short walk away from the Galleria Museum where I got to see the famous David statue. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable, even accommodating an earlier breakfast for me. The hotel's location made it easy for me to explore the Duomo and other attractions in the area. The room I stayed in was clean and recently renovated. Plus, there's a fantastic restaurant named Tratoria Za Za's nearby that serves the best pizza in town.

Planned to see Florence major attractions and it was good base for visiting all of them...

It was a quiet hotel, nothing too much trouble, recommend. Coffee, fruit, cheese, yoghourt and croissants were fabulous and overall there was plenty of food.

Although everything was great, some of the staff were poor.

The hotel's location was perfect, right in the center and very close to all the attractions of the city. We were able to easily walk to the main sites, and it was just a short distance from the Accademia where we saw Michelangelo's David. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and the staff provided excellent service. The breakfast was good and well-organized, giving us the energy we needed for a day of exploring. We also appreciated the air conditioning in our room, especially during the hot summer days.

The noise from the outside trucks during the night was a bit bothersome.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in Florence for sightseeing purposes. The staff at Gioia was incredibly friendly and accommodating, providing me with a map upon arrival and even allowing me to check in early. The location of the hotel was perfect, situated in the heart of the city and within walking distance to all major attractions and museums. My room was spacious with a high ceiling and had access to a terrace. Despite the slightly worn bathroom, it was clean and spacious. Gioia offered great value for money, and the garage parking was a convenient bonus.

I was kinda surprised by the spacious and clean room at Hotel Gioia. The bathroom was modern and had fluffy towels. The staff was friendly and spoke English well. The location was perfect, with the Santa Maria Cathedral just minutes away. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The room was on the smaller side, making it a bit cramped for two people. Some maintenance issues in the bathroom, such as rusting fixtures and dirt in the shower.

The location is unbeatable - just a short 15-minute walk to the train station and airport shuttle. It's also conveniently close to all the major attractions north of the Arno River. The room was spacious, the hotel was quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and made us feel at home. Within a 5-minute walk, you have access to excellent shopping and dining options.
